Dream or Reality? Part 1
You wake up. It's dark out still, but you can tell it's near dawn. There's a faint tint of light coming from outside your window, but not enough to signal morning, or even that it's near sunrise. The room is nearly pitch black, aside from the light from the computer, and a small clock emitting a vibrant blue. The clock is unreadable though, as it is partially blocked by a book (to reduce the light). You roll over, exhausted and unready to face the coming day. Your eyes are heavy this morning. The bed is warm and inviting, leaving it will take a lot of strength. Just as you are pondering more sleep, you realize you need to pee. You get up and go into the bathroom, still steeped in darkness. You try to turn on the light, but fail. You assume it's burnt out. After your bathroom break, you quickly wash your hands and return to bed. When you get there, a package is waiting for you. You curiously open it. It is a sign that reads "Truth is relative to circumstance. Awake is sleep, but in 3D." You rightfully become concerned and alert. Looking around the dark room, you can't see any signs of intruders or poltergeist. You glance back down at the box and sign, which have disappeared. You look behind you, in front of you, everywhere. It is gone. You lay down and go back to sleep, slightly frightened. Nothing has felt so real in years.
Are you awake or asleep?
